Why is it so difficult to find clothes for tall people?
It is always quite a challenge for tall people to find clothes that fit their sizes.

As a tall lad myself (6’4” or 1.94 m), it has always been a constant struggle for me to find clothes. Even if I did find anything, there’s always issues relating to shorter sleeves or the bottom part of the jeans or trousers is always shorter. Whenever I go shopping with my wife, the clothes she picks up for me ends up being shorter. So for the most part she’s the one that’s more disappointed, since she likes to buy clothes for me (I mostly prefer it that way).
Even those large clothes sizes that I try are quite loose on the chest part, so it feels kind of weird to wear those shirts or t-shirts as me being a skinny lad.
It’s not like that I don’t get any fitting clothes or something, but for the most part I have difficulty finding the right size for the clothes that me or my wife like at first glance. It’s just that the most of them are like “okay” and not that great. Even with shoes, I have the same problem (my shoe size is EU 47).
So why exactly this is the problem?
The reason for the clothes being difficult to fit for tall people for the most part, what I think, is just because of the average height being 5 ft. 7 inches for men and 5 ft. 4 inches for women.
There being a constant demand for clothes of the sizes for the above-mentioned height range could be one reason why it is difficult to find clothes for tall people or those that are difficult to fit you.
In many areas of the world the clothes on the e-commerce / online shops that sell clothes provide description and photos to preview where they give details about the models that are in the photo preview of the product. So according to that, you get an idea about the size or whether this will fit you or not.
Are there any stores that provide clothing for tall people?
I am sure that there are few clothing stores that provide you with clothes that will fit the sizes of tall people.
One such store I remember when I had my trip back in 2019 in Germany was this store in Hamburg city named I Love Tall.
What I liked about that store is that they have a variety of clothing options for tall people and that you are quite rightly spoiled for choices. Even when I tried the jacket, shirts, and trousers, they all were quite the fit! Even my wife was surprised what we were able to pick clothes that were fitting perfect at first attempt!
They also have a wide range of clothes for women as well, my wife bought a few for herself too (her being a 5’11” was able to get perfectly fine fitting outfits for herself).
It is quite fascinating how people identify such business ideas as well, because I have faced this problem for a long time, and I am quite frankly relieved to find that there are such kinds of stores that provide such options for tall lads like me.
